African Photo Safaris - South Africa www.southafrica.net or www.southafrica.com For the first-time visitors to the Southern part of Africa we recommend to consider South Africa.
There are many opportunities to
consider for your first trip. We recommend three days in the Kruger Park, one or
two days in Sun City, three days in Cape Town and two or three days along the
Garden Route.
Sun City: A unique location to visit, - only two hours from Johannesburg. You can get there by special ground transfer or you can take a short flight from Johannesburg. The enjoyment of Sun City is the Palace Hotel, and the adjoining malaria-free Pilanesberg Park where you can view and photograph wildlife. In addition, if you are a golfer, you can try your skill at the Gary Player Championship Course next to the Palace Hotel. Sun City is a wonderful experience.
Cape Town: One of the most beautiful cities of the world. A must for any visitor to South Africa. You can fly from Johannesburg or take one of the luxury trains - Rovos Rail or the Blue Train. See the links section of this website for web site information for both of these trains. While in Cape Town we recommend to stay at the Waterfront Area where you can dine or shop at your leisure. One of the great hotels we recommend is the Table Bay, it is located in the Waterfront area and it is adjacent to all the shopping and the beauty of the Waterfront. For your visit to Cape Town we recommend two full day tours; a Cape Peninsula and a Wine Tour. The Cape Peninsula tour offers you splendid views of two oceans, the opportunity to have a great lobster lunch at the Black Marlin Restaurant and also to visit a unique penguin colony. The Wine Tour will include the beautiful cities of Paarl and Stellenbosch and the opportunity to taste some of the best wines of the world. We also recommend taking the cable car to the top of Table Mountain and enjoying the beauty of Cape Town from such location.
