Botswana.
This wild and very beautiful country is one of the few places in Africa that
remains unspoiled. The jewel of Botswana is the Okavango Delta. Often referred
to as a baffling mysterious and beautiful area to visit and observe 36 species
of large mammals, over 80 species of fish and 200 species of birds including the
majestic Fish Eagle. Within the Delta there are many camps, the majority have to
be accessed by air, a short flight from Maun. The Delta has many different
habitats, including flood plains, seed beds and permanent wetlands.
While in one of the camps, the wildlife can be observed on foot, vehicle, native
mokoro, on the back of an elephant or on horseback.
The majority of the camps are tented camps, however most of the camps have
excellent tents with in-suite facilities. We consider the available food, wine,
and dining a super experience. Having a few sundowners in the bush and observing
