Tanzania Firearms Permit Hunters planning to hunt in Tanzania need to apply for their firearms permit at least 45 days prior to arrival. The firearms permit must be obtained by the outfitter on behalf of the hunter. There is a fee for the permit of $200 US per gun. Fully automatic and semi-automatic firearms are prohibited. Note: Camouflage clothing is prohibited for hunting in Tanzania. |
